General Terms & Conditions

By placing an order through the Pasture Expectations Greenhouse & Gift website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

1. Business Information

Pasture Expectations Greenhouse & Gift is a Manitoba-based small business offering handcrafted body products, gift items, greenhouse products, and custom orders. All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD).

2. Orders & Payment

All orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order due to product availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. If an order is cancelled after payment has been processed, a full refund will be issued by e-transfer to the buy directly. 

3. Taxes

Applicable taxes, including GST and PST where required by Manitoba law, will be calculated and applied at checkout. Customers are responsible for any applicable taxes based on their shipping or pickup location.

4. Shipping & Local Pickup

  • Not all products are available for shipping.

  • Some items, including plants and certain greenhouse products, are local pickup only and will be clearly identified on the product page.

  • Most products will ship within 5 business days of the order being placed. If delays are expected from the seller because of limited stock, the buys will be notified. 

  • Shipping timelines are estimates only and may vary due to carrier delays or seasonal volume.

  • Customers selecting local pickup will be notified when their order is ready. Order can be picked up during regular business hours only. 

Pasture Expectations Greenhouse & Gift is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.

5. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Due to the nature of our products:

  • Personal care products (including soaps, lotions, lip balms, and body products) are final sale for hygiene reasons unless there is a quality concern with the product upon opening. 

  • Plants and live goods are final sale.

  • Non-perishable retail items may be eligible for exchange or store credit at our discretion.

If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with photos and order details.

6. Custom Orders

Custom and personalized orders (including custom scents, colours, labels, or bulk event orders) are final sale once production has begun. Lead times for custom orders vary and will be communicated at the time of ordering.

7. Product Use & Allergies

All products are made with care using natural ingredients. Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient lists and ensuring products are suitable for their personal use. Pasture Expectations Greenhouse & Gift is not responsible for allergic reactions or misuse of products.

8. Limitation of Liability

Pasture Expectations Greenhouse & Gift shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our products or website.

9. Website Use

You agree not to misuse this website, including attempting to disrupt its functionality or access unauthorized areas. All content, images, and branding remain the property of Pasture Expectations Greenhouse & Gift unless otherwise stated.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
